The all-new 2017 Ford Super Duty pickup is strongly positioned to be the American automaker's best iteration yet, continuing to lead the way in its class in virtually every aspect of interest to its target customer.
The Ford Super Duty has always been about fully maximized capability, including towing, payload, horsepower, and efficiency all while delivering die-hard reliability even in the most extreme weather and road conditions. That's why for its 2017 model, Ford upped the ante to an all-new body made from military-grade aluminum alloy, which yields a massive weight reduction compared to both previous models and the competition.
And while certainly impressive, this slim-down wasn't merely to improve efficiency--the weight savings has also allowed the inclusion of stronger components elsewhere, including a high-strength steel frame that’s up to 24 times stiffer than the previous model.
All that combined with available next-generation PowerStroke Diesel technology, and you’re left with one highly capable machine. Take a look at the video below to see why the choice was easy for the fleet manager in particular. Then, stop by Kocourek Ford to check out the Super Duty up close and in person.
