When it comes to mid-sized SUVs, Ford likes to take pride in the great options that are available, but when it comes to the customer, the plethora of awesome choices can only make things worse. So, we’re going to break-down two of them, the Ford Edge and Ford Escape, and hopefully by the end you’ll have a better idea of what you want or need.

Both cars come with the same features you’d expect out of a Ford SUV. Four-wheel-drive, SYNC® with a touch screen, keyless entry, and decent fuel economy. But the Ford Edge is also just bigger. While the biggest engine available in a Ford Escape is a 2-Liter Turbocharged Inline-Four with EcoBoost, the Edge comes in a 3.5-Liter V-6. The Edge also is available with bigger wheels, a bigger SYNC® touchscreen, and is smarter with available features like Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive, sport-tuned suspension, and an individual tire pressure monitoring system. But at the end of the day, the Escape has better fuel economy.

Both cars fit almost all of the same features, but once you put all those features in the Escape, you’d be paying the same price as an Edge. So with that in mind, what do you want, what do you need, and, also, which do you frankly prefer? We’re here to help! Feel free to contact us for more information.
